Quick Start
What is CryptoLuggage?
CryptoLuggage is an user-friendly tool designed to protect your data.Once you create a Luggage, you can insert any number of files and directories and they'll be kept protected with a password of your choice. Afterwards, just extract the files you want to recover your data.
Each Luggage is self-contained in a single folder, so that you can carry that folder around in a pendrive or backup it without worrying about missing dependencies. You'll just need a running instance of CryptoLuggage to insert or extract data.
Visit the help page if you have questions trouble using it.
Is it secure? How does it work?
To make it short, CryptoLuggage is secure enough. All data is encrypted using 256bit AES in CBC mode, which is the strongest version of an algorithm which is considered a security standard.
In addition, not only file contents but also file and directory names are kept secret.

If you choose a strong enough password (the Luggage creation wizard will help you to determine this), there's little a possible intruder can do if they manage to get your data.
Warning: Don't forget your password since there's no way to recover protected data.
Note: Due to some legal restrictions, default Java installations are limited and cannot create keys larger than 128 bits. That doesn't need to be a problem, but if that's a concern to you or need greater security, there's a solution in the help page.
